If adventurous then can even take an elephant ride up 2 Amer Fort 4 500 INR.its fun too
I wud suggest not taking a guide unless you are historical fanatic :-)
Remember at Amer Fort,u can walk up 2 the fort frm the base.But i wud advise against it. Take a jeep ride 4 190 INR
I liked the Amer Fort best. It even had a art gallery inside. Then liked the city palace
I wud suggest taking this iteanary. Can see a lot in a day in Jaipur if planned well.

The name of the guesthouse is Jai Niwas http://bit.ly/C9Hq Charges are 1500INR 4 double standard. Very quite & peaceful.Like the lawn
I wud not call it excatly a hotel.More of a boutique hotel or guesthouse.It seems sm 1 haveli has been converted.
Also we found this excellent hotel in center of #jaipur.It has excellent amenities & at reasonable price!
Chowkidhani is abt 26km frm the center of #jaipur.Its 300INR 4 adults & 150 4 a child per ticket.This included the food.
In fact 1 was supprised with the hospitality they showed while serving the food at chowkidhani.The best resturant in delhi also dont do this
Twpeople,If u come 2 #jaipur u have 2 cm 2 Chowkidhani 4 sure.highly recomended.Its like a rustic theme park.& authentic rajasthani food
And Listening to “Papa kehtein hain” and drinking cold beer…
Reached Jaipur. The hotel is very nice. Some old Haveli has been converted into a charming place.
And Sid driving at 100 km per hr. And Camels slowing us down :-)
Have never seen such arid vegetation…
Rajastan has such awesome weather :-) Still 70 km to go for Jaipur…
Now going to Chokidhani
